NEVER SAY NEVER

........need I say more. This is my new car.

TRICK or TREAT

Halloween is so much more fun with kids. I wasn't a big fan of Halloween... but kids make it much more fun. This year was great. Gavin and Kennedy were so excited and even little Dallin was getting the hang of holding out his pumpkin bucket and yelling something in a language we don't understand. Dallin's bucket was heavy with candy, but he would not let me touch it! By the end of the night he was dragging it on the ground, but still... he would not let me touch it. We all had a great time! HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

Gavin and Kennedy saying good night to the pumpkinsTrunk or Treat

Isn't he the cutest thing EVER! We would turn around and Dallin would be sitting on the ground checking out his candy. He loved running from door to door with Kennedy and Gavin. He would look at me and say "more, more"

I think he would crawl into his pumpkin if he could......

Scott and I went to a really fun "adult only" Halloween party! Believe it or not.... Scott can dance! We won 2nd place in the dance contest. Good Times!

PEACE OUT!

We have a really fun pumpkin carving tradition with the Fisher's. We have been carving pumpkins with the Fisher's long before we all had kids. Ethan is a professional pumpkin carver... he likes to get the biggest pumpkin he can find.

1st Day of School

What is happening to my babies.... Gavin and Kennedy are both going to school this year. Our morning is crazy busy getting everyone ready for school. I think it is a miracle that I can have 3 kids fed, clothed and in the car a little after 8:00. I know the rest of you have been doing this for years and are just smiling reading this... MAN - it takes an act of congress to make this happen at our house. We have been having all sorts of melt downs, from I want oatmeal...not cold cereal and not those shoes...these shoes...not that bow in my hair....this bow.... I could go on and on. Let's just say, it has been 2 weeks and I think I am finally getting into my groove. It is really quiet around our house for about 3 hours, and then everything is back to normal and it is like I never had a "little" break. Yes, I am one of those mom's that gets sad thinking about sending my kids to school. I think I get more sad thinking they are getting bigger and growing up, but 3 hours goes by really fast so I haven't been too sad. (tee hee)

I wanted to start a first day of school TRADITION. So as I was dropping the kids off to school I told them we would go get pancakes after school to celebrate the 1st day of school. Then I went on to try and explain what a tradition was. (P.S. - don't try to explain to a 3 & 4 year old what a tradition is). We go to Denny's to celebrate and start our 1st day of school tradition. Great time - my kids LOVE pancakes. So for the next week - EVERYDAY as I am picking them up from school they are asking when we are going to go get pancakes. Again, they just aren't getting the TRADITION thing. I am sure as we do this year after year they will understand. We have had a great first 2 weeks. Aren't they DARLING!!!!

Newport Beach 2009

We always have a fun time at Newport. It is the trip we all look forward to all year long. The older the kids get the more fun we have. It is so much fun to see all the little cousins play together. All the adults come home so tired we are ready for another vacation, but it is a great time to get caught up and spend time together. What a great FAMILY.... I love you ALL!

Kennedy is 3!!!

I almost want to cry when I think of my little girl turning 3. She is so much fun, a lot of work, but so much fun. She is full of life and hardly ever stops talking. Kennedy is lucky, she always gets to celebrate 2 birthday's. One at our annual Newport beach trip and the other one home with a couple close friends. We had a cupcake birthday party at Newport and a breakfast and bounce house birthday party at our home. Isn't she DARLING. We love you Kennedy!

The Happiest Place on Earth

My Happiest Dallin - love this babe!
Again, trying to get all 3 in a picture together. Goofy was like.... alright - let's get this picture taken. This is as good as we could get. We LOVE Mickey Mouse!
Kennedy waited in line to get her picture with Cinderella. I didn't think she would wait...but she did without making a sound. She was so excited to see Cinderella. After I took the picture Kennedy just stood there looking at her. I had to pick her up and carry her away in order to leave. I think she would of stood there forever just staring at Cinderella. She was one happy 2 year old.
Gavin and Daddy at California Adventure
We were lucky Kennedy took a nap....so she could be our happy girl for the rest of the day.
Kennedy loved Pluto!
Gavin and Kennedy loving It's a Small World. Kennedy was leaning over the front of the boat. Her eyes were huge and her head was moving back and fourth. She couldn't get enough of the ride. She loved it and wanted to take the "dolls" home with her.
Dallin waiting patiently in line.
Gavin enjoying the jungle cruise ride. Kennedy and Dallin both were crying....they didn't enjoy the ride so much. It took us a minute to explain to Kennedy the alligators (and all the other "scary" animals) were not real.
Impossible to get all 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time.
We have been waiting to take our kids to Disneyland until they were at ages where they would really understand where they were at. We are so glad we waited. They had so much fun. They knew all the characters and loved the rides, even Dallin was able to ride the majority of the rides with us. It has been over 18 years since I was at Disneyland. It was a surreal experience to be walking around with 3 of my little kids. I think I was just as excited as the kids were. We had a great time! I am sure we will be back soon.

Oh, BEAUTIFUL MAUI !!!

We had an amazing trip to Maui. Scott surprised me with a beautiful flower lei when I walked off the airplane...the vacation just got better and better. We rented a jeep and drove all around the island, we drove to the top of Haleakala (10,023 elevation) we felt like we were on top of the world. It was amazing. We ate great food, read 2 books a piece, got massages, rode jet skies on the ocean, snorkeled with the sting rays and sea turtles, relaxed and just remembered what it was like to be married without 3 little kids. It was wonderful. Happy Anniversary!
