TRICK or TREAT

Is he not the cutest Woody you have ever seen?
Lady Bug and Woody hugging

My little PUMPKIN!

SO CUTE!!!

Kennedy wanted to be a princess until I found this cutest Lady bug costume and then told her cousin London was also a Lady bug - that was all it took....she was going to be a Lady bug like cousin London!! I was glad - she dresses up as a Princess daily. : ) Isn't she adorable?

Scott hates to dress up, but he really gets the pressure to dress up for work. They have big contests and do all sorts of fun HALLOWEEN stuff. Isn't he a scary PIRATE.

Dallin couldn't resist the PIRATE sword and hat

Spraying Gavin's hair BLACK - he looked totally different

Scary Vampire

Ready to TRICK or TREAT

At the PUMPKIN patch

Hundreds of PUMPKINS! The kids had a blast.... they were so DIRTY

Dallin wanted to climb on all the PUMPKINS. He would get stuck, we would pull him out and he would go right back for more.

Kennedy with her MINI PUMPKIN

We did our traditional pumpkin carving with the Fisher's this year. We had to do it a week before Halloween - it was the only time our schedules would work. Our pumpkins were rotten by Halloween. We always have a good time carving them with the Fisher's it is a fun tradition we have been doing for 5 years now. : )

I had to bundle my pumpkin up to go trick or treating.... everyone was asking me if SHE was a boy or a girl. You know that bothered me. : ) She had a good time and was WAY over stimulated by the time the night was done.
***********************************************************************************
I have never been a fan of Halloween.... UNTIL I had kids, and now I have to admit it is one of my favorite holidays. It is so much fun to see them get all excited and dressed up. Gavin, Kennedy and Dallin all got the concept this year, which made it even more fun. Dallin was walking around say "knock, knock, knock - Trick or Treat - then I get candy!" : ) Gavin had a hard time picking his costume this year. He was really determined to dress up as something that we could paint his face with. So the final decision was a Vampire (I tried everything in my power to change his mind.. but he is a determined little boy.) I think he heard the older boys in the neighborhood talking about costumes. Needless to say, we painted his face for the trunk or treat on Saturday night and then he was over it. He didn't really like it. No one knew who he was - - so I don't think we will be dealing with the face painting dilemma for a while. Hopefully never. We had such a great holiday. Now what do we do with all this candy????

BROKEN...

So this is our first broken "anything" experience with any of our children. We are all BROKEN (believe me) It is hard to see your little one with a broken arm. Kennedy fell off our trampoline>>> We have a netting around the exterior of the trampoline and the zipper on the door was not zipped shut - - - need I say more. From this point on it is a mandatory rule the zipper is always shut.

She is a little trooper. She looks up at me with her BIG blue eyes and says, "Mommy how am I going to do this." "THIS" can be anything from climbing up on the bar stool, un-twisting her water bottle, pulling down her pants to go potty, buckling herself in her car seat and the list goes on and on. My response to her is, "We will do it together and it will be so much fun." She now thinks everything is REALLY FUN!!! We are making the best of this and pray it will not happen again. Isn't she cute with her PINK cast! We love our KENNEDY!

KAUAI - Heaven on Earth

We had a trip of a life time. Kauai is spectacular. I can honestly say it is "heaven on earth". We had a relaxing 10 days in paradise, reading, eating the best food, hiking, Amy laying by the pool, Scott golfing some of the most amazing golf courses, sightseeing, snorkeling, and the highlight for me was the helicopter ride all over the island. I have never seen such rich tropical vegetation in my life. So many shades of green - - pictures don't do this island justice. You must go see it yourself! We finished our trip with 3 days on Oahu. I really wanted to take Scott back to BYU - Hawaii where I could reminiscence of the days when I "tried" to go to school over there...it has been 14 years and believe me when I say the campus has changed. It was fun to see the dorm I use to live in and revisit the beautiful temple. We also went to a Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center, something I never did while I was there. Everything was perfect, the best part was being able to be there and enjoy it ALL with Scott!

Thanks to Grandma B, Papa and Grandma Char for watching our little darlings so we could enjoy this wonderful vacation. We are forever grateful.

Laptop Crisis

I found Dallin on the counter picking the laptop keyboard apart. He was so proud of himself and held up the handful of letters he had in his hand. Thank heavens Scott could fix it! When I say this "darling" kid is into everything, I truly mean EVERYTHING!!!

Dallin is 2

I can't believe my baby is 2! Isn't he the cutest 2 year old you have ever seen. We always have the traditional pancake birthday breakfast with candles in the pancake. The kids LOVE it. Dallin was trying to figure out how to blow out the candles...with the help from Kennedy he figured it out. Dallin's birthday started out great....then quickly turned into a crying fest. Kennedy decided she wanted it to be her birthday "NOW" and everything Dallin got for his birthday all of the sudden Gavin wanted it too....we had no idea Gavin has "always and forever" wanted a Woody stuffed doll (from Toy Story)))???? Needless to say, we had a fun morning trying to keep everyone happy. Dallin is so much fun. He is into everything and I mean EVERYTHING - -
We LOVE, LOVE you Dallin!!!!
